Onise of Odo-Oro Confferes Senator Abdul'aziz Yar'adua With Chieftaincy Title.

The Onise of Odo-Oro Ekiti His Royal Majesty Oba Babatunde Adebayo Jemilehin in Ekiti state on Saturday conffered  Senator Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District with a Chieftaincy Title as Agba Akin of Odo-Oro Ekiti ( Chief Warrior).

The ceremony  conducted by His Royal Majesty Onise of Odo-Oro Ekiti in his palace, Ekiti state was witnessed by other traditional rulers of Odo-Oro Ekiti and many closed associates of the Senator.

Shortly after the turbaning, the Onise of Odo-Oro Ekiti His Royal Majesty Oba Babatunde Adebayo Jemilehin said the traditional title suits Senator Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua following his doggedness, charisma and steadfastness in the fight against insecurity for his people and the nation at large.

Orise of Odo-Oro Ekiti claimed that as Chairman Senate Committee on Army, Senator Abdul'aziz Yar'adua for the first time in the Senate had presented motions on the floor of the Senate on dangers of insecurity and the like which  attracted the attention and interest of his colleagues at the Upper Chamber.

He pointed out that, recently, the Senator filed a motion on Service Chiefs and according to him, the Senate outrightly resolved to summon the Service Chiefs to discuss lasting solutions on insecurity not only in the North, but the nation at large.

He however showed overwhelming Support to his crusade which attracted him to turbaned him as Chief Warrior of Odo-Oro Ekiti.

Oba Jemilehin therefore charged elected officers and other politicians to follow the foot steps of Senator Abdul'aziz Yar'adua by becoming up to expectations of their people.

In an interview, the just turbaned Agba Akin of Odo-Oro Ekiti Senator Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua along his Wife Hajia Binta Abdul'aziz Yar'adua thanked God for making people from various direction to realise and consider his efforts.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Army and also Mutawallen Katsina pledged to use the title as expected, and thanked the Onise of Odo-Oro Ekiti for identifying him with the throne.

Relatives and well wishers that witnessed the grand ceremony include Alhaji Tanimu Garba Gwarjo, Alhaji Umar Johnson Farooq A K, Alhaji Umaru Mati Saulawa, Engineer Surajo Yazid Abukur and Hon. Hassan Sani Jikan Malam among others.
